A new poll is up and we at TTRS figured some of the choices may need some explanation. 

Suffocating in ash - takes a long time to die. Very agonizing. According to the TTRS pain/death/execution expert, it can take several hours, during the whole time it feels like you are suffocating

Disembowelment - getting your guts ripped out, basically

Bamboo Torture - having bamboo grown up through you as you're tied to the ground

Botched electric chair - very painful. You may melt/burn alive. See Stephen King's The Green Mile, part five (we think)

TTRS's "Which country is cooler?" poll has just concluded. We asked readers to vote for their favorite country out of:
- New Zealand
- Denmark
- USA
-Kosovo
- Kiribati

Denmark won out with 8 votes (26%). The other votes were as follows:

New Zealand - 6 (20%)
USA - 3 (10%)
Kosovo - 7 (23%)
Kiribati - 6 (20%)

Happy Revenge of the Fifth! (plus poll results)

So yesterday was Star Wars Day (May the Fourth be with you!), but unfortunately we didn't really post anything. Well today we get another chance... it's Revenge of the Fifth! Look for some Star Wars-related posts here on The Totally Random Site today.

ALSO... our first real poll has just concluded. We asked readers if they were pro-Russia-invading-Ukraine. The choices we gave were "HECK YES", "GAWD NO", "undecided", and "what's russia?". Well here are the results:

HECK YES - 2 votes (15%)
GAWD NO - 2 votes (15%)
undecided - 4 votes (30%)
what's russia? - 5 votes (38%)

We don't know what we expected.
